You don’t drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

Stand up for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone.

Look at what you are doing. Ask yourself, is it important to you? Is it important to someone else? Is it important to many people? Is It important to the world? Is it important to all living things? If it's not any of those, stop, and find something that is.

Personality is not a thing set in stone. There is very rarely a true "I am what I am" situation. You are who you choose to be. If you don't like how you are appearing or how you are behaving, take the steps to change it. Look around. Who is truly standing in your way? Most likely, it's only you.

You are important. No, really! It took me years to figure this out. I'd always heard people say it, but figured they meant someone else, someone who did more, or looked better, or was more interesting. If you feel that way, it is not true! EVERY person is important and adds something to the lives of those around them. Don't ever forget that you make a difference, even though it will sometimes be a difference you can't perceive.

Love isn't something that you find, it's something that finds you.

Just because it didn’t last forever, doesn’t mean it wasn’t worth your while.

Growing old is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

Don't ever go to bed angry.

The best advice I can give is to ignore most people’s advice. Follow your heart instead. Life is too short to be sidetracked by the things everyone else wants you to do.

When you concentrate all of your energy on what you hate, it tends to be what you become.

Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get.

Whatever you're thinking about is literally like planning a future event. When you're worrying, you are planning. When you are appreciating, you are planning. What are you planning?

The secret to success is no secret. Just work hard and add more value to people’s lives than anyone else does!

It's easy to assume negative things about others, get insecure about relationships, and attribute it to yourself when suddenly you’re not getting the usual attention from others. But give them the benefit of the doubt! Do you really know what is going on in their life or what they are trying to manage/balance right now? It doesn't always mean they don't care for you anymore! Life can be hard to juggle at times. That's all.

If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.
